If your DVD player does not recognize VCD, it will not play it. You could compare VCD vs VCD2 formats, but just burning the mpg or avi on a CD is just as likely to work as VCD anyway. Try that. What you really need is a new DVD player (or a TV out card for your computer) sorry to say. ... VCD wont play on my dvd player.
